Libby's House BlogLibby's House Hosts Book Signing for Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Therapy DogThis past Sunday the staff and residents of Libby's House where honored to host a book signing for Barbara Techel for her newest book, Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Therapy Dog Visits Libby's House. Our residents and the public alike had a wonderful afternoon meeting Barbara and visiting with Frankie. The event started with a private preview for residents (and their families) who were featured in the book. Barbara gave each of those families a copy of the book and thanked them for being her inspiration. Since some of the residents that Frankie visits with have Alzheimer’s disease Barbara vowed to give a portion of proceeds from the book signing to fight this disease. I’m proud to announce that through book sales, Barbara was able to donated $200 to The Alzheimer’s Association of Southwest Wisconsin. We are truly grateful that Frankie visits Libby’s House each month! What a blessing she is to ALL of our residents and staff.
