Libby’s House is proud sponsor of Rock for Generations

Come join us on March 20th starting at 6pm at Amore in Plymouth (18 West Mills Street; 892-2161) for a benefit for the Plymouth Intergenerational Coalition (PIC). Enjoy the music of the Pink Flamingos, bid on live and silent auction items and support the PIC Capital Campaign to build a center that will serve and enhance the lives of children, seniors and their families within our community. The event will include appetizers, raffles, auctions and live music.

Tickets are $30 and $25 is tax deductible. For more information contact the PIC office at 920-892-4858.

Libby’s House is proud to support the efforts of PIC and we look forward to a long and lasting relationship of providing meaningful opportunities for people of all generations within our community.

Libby's House Hosts Book Signing for Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Therapy Dog

This past Sunday the staff and residents of Libby's House where honored to host a book signing for Barbara Techel for her newest book, Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Therapy Dog Visits Libby's House. Our residents and the public alike had a wonderful afternoon meeting Barbara and visiting with Frankie.

The event started with a private preview for residents (and their families) who were featured in the book. Barbara gave each of those families a copy of the book and thanked them for being her inspiration.

Since some of the residents that Frankie visits with have Alzheimer’s disease Barbara vowed to give a portion of proceeds from the book signing to fight this disease. I’m proud to announce that through book sales, Barbara was able to donated $200 to The Alzheimer’s Association of Southwest Wisconsin.

We are truly grateful that Frankie visits Libby’s House each month! What a blessing she is to ALL of our residents and staff. Thanks Barbara and Frankie!!
